When accessing this website/placing an order with Creative Wear & Embroidery Ltd , any personal information provided by you e.g. name, address, email address and telephone number is used for the purpose of ordering, payment or delivery only and for marketing purposes when you either opt in to this service or we believe we have a strong reason to contact you e.g. you are a client or have a need for our service.
We do not sell information and do not transfer it to any organisation for any purpose other than when processing your order.
Such information is kept electronically in our computer system, our email system hosted by Hosting Systems, our telephone system, with our courier service (if used), our online shop hosted by Adventure Graphics/Woocommerce and in our accounting system. We also keep paper copies of order information in our archives for future use/enquiries. The above information is securely kept for a period of time governed by HMRC guidelines/ law for purposes of accounting.
If we hold your embroidery/print design for you, we will retain order information/contact details until such time as you inform us that your design is no longer required or until the end of the data retention period above.
Our website’s security is monitored and managed by Adventure Graphics to minimise the risk of security hacks/breaches. We have taken steps to ensure that Adventure Graphics and their industry partners take your privacy as seriously as us. Our website has an SSL certificate which improves our website security, (when installed on a web server, it activates the padlock and the https protocol and allows secure connections from a web server to a browser.)
Our website collects ‘cookies’ which are small, harmless files saved to the user’s computer’s hard drive that track, save and store information about the user’s interactions and usage of the website.
Any information sent/received via email is managed by a database server provider. This provider ensures that your information is handled responsibly and in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws.
We use Mailchimp as our marketing platform. If you subscribe to our mailing list and no longer wish to receive this information, please click on the unsubscribe option contained in the footer of the email or alternatively contact us at email@example.com and we will remove you from our mailing list.
We will not give out personal details unless there is evidence of fraudulent activity or we are requested to give information by law to the relevant authorities for the purpose of a legal investigation.
